3 Days 2 Nights / Kinabalu Park / Kinabalu Summit (via Timpohon Gate)


Day 1 Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park (Dinner)

Pick up from Kota Kinabalu city hotel & depart for Kinabalu Park. It takes about 2 hours to drive through remote villages with magnificent scene of valleys and eventually arrive at the Kinabalu Park area.
Upon arrival at Kinabalu Park, register & check in to the assigned accommodation in around the park area.
Trek around the short trails available in around the park area, or just relax & enjoy the cool weather at the park. There are over 1000 species of flowers and plants found at Kinabalu Park. There are many Pitcher plants and Orchids around the park area.
Having lunch at your own expense.
Dinner will be served at the restaurant in the park area.
Staying in the assigned accommodation for 1 night.


Day 2 Kinabalu Park / Laban Rata / (Breakfast / BOX lunch / Dinner)

Early rise to prepare for the hiking. Gather at park headquarters with mountain guide, to be transferred to the starting point for the hiking, together with the mountain guide.
Hiking activity will take about 4-7 hours, depending on individual body condition.
Upon arriving the 11,000 ft, at the Laban Rata area, check into the assigned accommodation and staying at there for 1 night.

Day 3 Laban Rata / Kinabalu Park / Kota Kinabalu (Breakfast / Lunch)

Early rise at about 0200 hrs in the morning & start trekking up to the summit. Trekking will take about 3-4 hours.
Witness the glorious sunrise over the majestic Mt. Kinabalu if weather permits.
Descend to the accommodation at the Laban Rata area & check out.
Trek down to the Timpohon Gate. To be transferred back to park headquarters to collect Certificate of Achievement.
Lunch will be served at the restaurant in Kinabalu Park. Depart for Kota Kinabalu city area after lunch.

Note 1 : Staying in the non-heater bunk bed accommodation could be very cold sometimes. It is advisable to bring along your own sleeping bag or you can rent that at the resthouse, at your own cost.

Note 2 : Tour commence only when there are at least 2 person or above. Single traveler will be surcharged at 150% off the original package price.

Note 3 : All of those who have made up their decision to book through our recommended agent, will have to make either half of the payment or full payment.

Note 4 : Package min.2 pax, for single travel Rm350 surcharge apply.

It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following aliment, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (Overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
